Colon:

  • To identify the embryological origin
  • To appreciate it’s position and it’s parts
  • To appreciate the difference between large and small intestines
  • To recognize the teania coli and where they end and form one continuous muscle
  • To identify the relations
  • To identify the colic gutters
  • To identify the NVB

Ceacum:

  • To appreciate the ceacum and the ilial ceacal valve

Appendix:

  • To appreciate the positions of the appendix and the NVB

To recognize Acute appendicitis, intestinal obstruction and cancer of the colon, colonoscopy and stomach
