  – To recognize the hepatic artery, the hepatic portal vein, hepatic vein and the portal triad.

  – To recognize the difference of venous drainage between the anterior and posterior parts of the liver.

  – To differentiate the portal blood system from the systemic.

  – To identify the source of the nerve supply and lymphatic drainage of different parts.

  – To recognize cirrhosis and hepatocellular carsinoma.

  • Biliary system:

  – To recognize its structure.

  – To recognize the formation of the biliary tree.

  – To identify the NVB.

  – To recognize cholelithiasis.
