- To appreciate that the endemic KS is most aggressive.
- To Appreciate that KS does not affect the CNS and PNS.
- To recognize the symptoms and signs of each type.
- To identify the many differentials.
- To appreciate the role of bronchoscopy, endoscopy, colonoscopy and biopsy.
- To recognize that chemotherapy is the treatment of choice.
- To recognize the role of HAART and screening in prevention.
