  • The small intestines and rectum will be found in other sections.

Description

-To describe male and female pelvic viscera

-To identify:

  • In both sexes: The ureter and it’s constrictions, the urinary bladder
  • In females: The uterus, the cervix, the fallopian tube, the ovaries, the ovarian artery and it’s relations to the ureter, the vagina and it’s fornices
  • In males: The seminal vesicle, the vas deferens, the prostate and it’s lobes

-To recognize the relations of each

-To identify the neurovascular bundle and lymphatic drainage

-To recognise cancer of the prostate in male and ectopic pregnancies in females
