  • To appreciate articular surfaces of the elbow joint
  • To appreciate the Monteggia, Galeazzi and Colle’s fractures
  • To appreciate  the 8 carpal bones .
  • To appreciate injury to the lunate and scaphoid.
  • To appreciate the order of the contents of the carpal tunnel.
  • To appreciate the structures that are close to the tunnel but do not pass through it .
  • To appreciate the metacarpals and phalanges
