- To appreciate the radius and ulnar and their muscles
- To appreciate articular surfaces of the elbow joint
- To appreciate the Monteggia, Galeazzi and Colle’s fractures
- To appreciate the 8 carpal bones .
- To appreciate injury to the lunate and scaphoid.
- To appreciate the order of the contents of the carpal tunnel.
- To appreciate the structures that are close to the tunnel but do not pass through it .
- To appreciate the metacarpals and phalanges
